Today was special indeed!!!...I tried my first shot at cooking!!!....I had never exploited my culinary skills before and yelled a frantic “NO” if ever asked to enter the kitchen! Well today, out of shear necessity (was starving but had a brawl with ma so couldn’t ask her for food) was forced to enter the same place and voila!!!....I did end up victorious!!!.....yeah yeah yeah…..I admit it was only half a packet of our tried and tested “Maggie” noodles with which I inaugurated my entry into the cookery world but still the effort’s worth applauding!!!.....NO….don’t go haywire thinking what a bloke I must be….I agree that such a trivial cuisine is dished out by people half my age and with much lesser fanfare but I confess to be a slow learner indeed!! Never mind…my Maggie was scrumptious enough to be proud of with just the right amount of water….an exact serving of the masala tastemaker and just about the idle boiling time (and plz do note that I was completely unassisted….. remember the clash with mummy!!!) One of these days’s I’ll surely make a plateful of the noodles for dad…the man will surely be pleased…he is a self-confessed Maggie aficionado and absolutely hates the one made by mom!!!(am sorry mamma but the truth had to come out someday)…..Newayz I am of proud of my work today......I’m happy!!!
